Mary Kay Letourneau has died after a battle with cancer the former teacher who was convicted of raping a 13 year old student she would later marry has passed away of stage four cancer letour know was 34 years old when she began a sexual relationship with sixth grader Vili Fualaau in 1997 while awaiting sentencing on second-degree rape charges the washington-based middle school teacher gave birth to their first daughter.
Audrey Letourneau was ordered to spend six months in jail and stay away from fool ow but upon her release they resumed their relationship letour knows plea agreement was revoked and she served a seven and a half year prison sentence she gave birth to their second daughter Georgia behind bars upon release in 2004 Letourneau and fool ow then 21 married they later filed for legal separation in 2017 her son Steve letona jr. one of four children from a previous marriage shared a statement with NBC.
